Tamil Nadu Government Declares Holiday on 30th July 2015…
The Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday announced that July 30 would be a holiday in the state as a mark of respect to former President APJ Abdul Kalam who died in Shillong on Monday.
The last rites of Kalam would be held at his native place Rameswaram on July 30 (Thursday).
According to a communique issued by the public department, it would be holiday for all educational institutions, and government and private establishments on Thursday under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
