Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting Arun Jaitley on Thursday released ‘Bharat 2016’ and ‘India 2016’ year books.
It also provides detailed information on various schemes and projects of Government and its various departments.
It is particularly important for competitive exams. The electronic version for both the yearbooks was also launched simultaneously with the print version for the first time.
The E versions will be cheaper and easier to store and will be priced at 75% of the print book cost.
Speaking on the occasion I&B Minister Arun Jaitley said that the yearbook is a must read for journalists as well as politicians.
He further added that the Year book will be a great asset for every household in India.
This yearbook is published annually by the Publications Division, a media unit of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of India, which is one of the leading publishing houses in the country and the largest in the public sector.
